About Galen
Galen helps individuals, families, and small business owners make thoughtful, informed decisions about their future. His practice centers on estate, small business and succession planning; where he guides clients through the process of organizing affairs, protecting assets, and creating plans that reflect values, priorities, and long-term goals.
He understands that estate planning is not just a legal exercise—it is a personal one.
Galen approaches each engagement with care, precision, and a focus on long-term outcomes, whether he is working with families, small business owners, or high-net-worth individuals. When asked, he states that his “career is based on creating peace of mind for people by housing their most treasured assets within custom trusts for the next generation.”
His work often involves helping clients navigate sensitive considerations, including family dynamics, separate property planning, and structuring comprehensive long-term trusts. For business owners, this includes developing practical succession strategies that align personal and tax planning into a cohesive, forward-looking framework. Moreover, Galen and his wife are majority owners of two high-profile wellness centers. As a small business owner, he provides valuable insight and experience to the planning conversation.
He lives in the First Addition neighborhood of Lake Oswego with his wife and two boys. He spends his free time at his boys' soccer games and tennis matches, school theater and choir events, and attending functions at the country club. He’s also an active member of the Lake Oswego Rotary Club.
Galen is a Lewis and Clark Law School graduate and admitted to practice law in Oregon.
